World Indoor silver medalist in the 400 meters, Trevor Bassitt of Ashland University (Ohio), joins DyeStat editor Doug Binder to talk about his first experienece with the U.S. national team in Belgrade, Serbia. Bassitt, who has won 12 NCAA Division 2 track titles, was able to make the schedule work to go to the USATF Indoor Championships in Spokane, Wash., where he won the national title in the 400, then went with his team to the NCAA Division 2 Indoor Championships in Pittsburg, Kan., and then made the trip to the World Indoor Championships. Coming back home, Bassitt has decided to continue with college team through the spring and hopes to regain the Division 2 outdoor title in the 400-meter hurdles before turning his attention to trying to make the U.S. team for the World Outdoor Championships in the 400-meter hurdles.
